| Welcome to yet another collection of photos I've taken, this one a series of photos I took while in Palm Desert California in early March 2002. These are scenes from around the Marriot Desert Springs hotel/resort, where I was staying for a conference. Though it was cold back home in Rhode Island, in Palm Desert (just outside Palm Springs) it was in the 70s and gorgeous. Among other sites I enjoyed on the cab ride from the airport: a view of Bob Hope's house up on a hill; the cemetery where Frank Sinatra is buried; and my fav, the Betty Ford clinic. And no, there was no sign of Betty herself.
Flamingos outside the Marriott Desert Springs
. And big palm trees
A taste of North Carolina!
Definitely NOT North Carolina.
A spectacular sunset!
